The October Revolution (until 3 August 1957, the Molotovsk ) was a Soviet cruiser of Project 68 bis .

July 15, 1952 laid down at the plant number 402 in Severodvinsk
and on September 25, 1953 was enlisted in the lists of the Navy ships. She was launched on May 25, 1954, and put into operation on November 30, 1954.
From August 3 to 7, 1956 and from August 30 to September 3, 1958, paid visits to Oslo (Norway),
from August 8 to 12, 1956 and from September 8 to September 12, 1958 – to Gothenburg (Sweden).
From 8 to 13 May 1970 – in Cherbourg (France), from 17 to 22 August 1971 – in Copenhagen (Denmark),
from 20 to 24 July 1978 and from 27 to 30 June 1980 – in Gdynia (Poland),
from 8 to 10 October 1978, from 4 to 9 October 1979, and from 9 to 14 August 1982 – in Rostock (GDR).
March 27, 1961 removed from service, but was later recommissioned in April 29, 1966.
From February 1973 to December 1976, the ship was modernized and rebuilt at Sevmorzavod in Sevastopol under the project 68-А.
from July 17 to July 23, 1970 and from September 25 to October 1, 1972, while in the war zone, she performed the combat mission to assist the Syrian armed forces, and from May 17 to June 25, from July 5 to 9, 1971
On September 16, 1987, disarmed and expelled from
the Navy in connection with the transfer for dismantling.
On February 11, 1988, it was disbanded and between 1988-1990, on was broken up for scrap…..
